Hook: the cost is in the plastic

Most of what a plastic part costs is the plastic inside it. Etat'H Solide's mission: make those parts one-third lighter, on the lines factories already run.

  2. Play from 0:11

    Why now: resin drives cost

Injection molding is a roughly three-hundred-billion-dollar market. Resin is often its biggest cost, and this year U.S. resin prices jumped twenty-three percent in four months.

The trade-off: lighter parts, new problems

Foaming with gas cuts resin, but with trade-offs. Streaked surfaces. Typical savings: just five to twelve percent. And new equipment, with long validation.

    Solution: two modules, existing lines

Etat'H Solide answers with two modules. EcoFoam replaces plastic with precisely dosed nitrogen. EcoMold heats the mold surface for a clean finish. Both are designed for the machines factories already run.

    Technology: light inside, clean outside

Nitrogen dissolves into the molten plastic under pressure. When it's injected, the pressure drops, and countless microscopic cells form. EcoMold heats the mold as it fills, then cools it fast, so a smooth skin sets over a lighter core.

    Evidence: the numbers so far

In specimen tests at KTR, EcoFoam cut density by thirty-four point three percent, keeping seventy-three percent of impact strength. In separate ABS tests, EcoMold raised gloss from eighty-three to one hundred four units. In one illustrative scenario, that's two hundred fifty-seven thousand dollars a year, per line.

Traction: the first customers are in

The first customers are in. A global top-five automotive supplier has issued a paid proof-of-concept order. Nestlé selected Etat'H Solide for a packaging proof of concept, and POSCO's IMP program advanced it to final due diligence.

    Landscape: less plastic, smooth finish

Rivals are converging: Engel bought MuCell's maker, Trexel, which then partnered with Roctool. Etat'H Solide combines both in a single system, backed by granted patents in the U.S., Korea, Japan and China.

    Business model: sales plus royalties

Paid trials of thirty to one hundred thousand dollars lead to equipment sales, a twenty to thirty percent royalty on verified savings, and parts made on Etat'H Solide's own lines.

  10. Play from 2:11

    Markets: wherever weight costs energy

Automotive and packaging come first, then robotics, drones and aerospace. A Michigan base, in the state that builds nearly one in five U.S. vehicles, keeps engineers close to customers.

AI harness: process intelligence with FlowOS

Every trial produces gas, temperature and pressure data. With FlowOS, its AI harness development partner, Etat'H Solide is building the next layer: AI designed to tune each cycle, where models suggest, code checks, and engineers approve.

  12. Play from 2:41

    Outlook: management projection

Management projects revenue rising from six point two million dollars in twenty twenty-seven to one hundred twenty-six million in twenty twenty-nine.

  13. Play from 2:51

    Team: deep plastics, U.S. access

Founder and CEO Damian Kang builds on four decades of family know-how in plastics, with a team chosen from nearly four hundred applicants for Alchemist Chicago's first cohort.

The ask: fund validation, enable scale

Etat'H Solide is raising three hundred thousand dollars this October to execute its Tier-one order, ahead of a three-million-dollar seed round.

  15. Play from 3:13

Close: one-third lighter, built to scale

    One-third lighter. Built to scale.
